AVWWG - Skoda introduces the Enyaq iV electric crossover

Skoda has been making vehicles in eastern Europe for more than 125 years. Now under the ownership of the Volkswagen group, Skoda is introducing the all-new Enyaq iV utilizing VW's MEB EV platform. The EV crossover is nicely proportioned and should give US customers an early peek at some aspects of the upcoming VW iD4 model that we will see later this year or early 2021. Yes this is another vehicle we won't get (AVWWG) kinda. Skoda has been seen as an economy brand for Volkswagen but the Enyaq iV doesn't shout cheap inexpensive. The green car shown in pics is the Founders Edition that will be offered in Europe on a limited basis (about 1800 units) featuring unique paint, interior features, and more. Various motor sizes and charging rates will be available with prices reflecting increased power and range. I think the grille is a bit overdone (you can even buy an illuminated version) and the rear seems a little thick, but overall a nice shape that should make many owners proud. For more info, check out the media release and additional pics after the "read more" jump. A video from Skoda is the next post.
